Do u have an Original CD as perhaps it may be your download.
I'm sure you've tried this already but...
Uninstall the game and Delte the Dark Omen folder
Install again and on first run, go straight to Options and set graphics to CPU and Black and White Cursors.
But join us in chat to try some more fixes...
